What do our partners really think?

Logo Unysis

Unisys is a global information technology company that designs, builds, and manages mission-critical environments for businesses and governments. Unisys selected Logi-Tech as its strategic partner in the South Australian region.  Logi-Tech provides technical support and project services to Unisys clients in South Australia.

Anthony Wilson, Service Delivery Executive, Australia and New Zealand for Unisys was recently interviewed on Logi-Tech's relationship with Unisys, and this is what he had to say.  "Logi-Tech acts like a true partner.  They work with us to ensure we get the outcomes we need and they structure their business to ensure maximum support.  Logi-Tech are strategic and look at the long term partnership, they don't just see it as a financial arrangement."

Anthony comments 'Logi-Tech take ownership, responsibility and represent our organisation; truly taking care of our customers."

When asked to comment on Logi-Tech's best quality, Anthony responds, "they deliver on commitments, are reliable and dependable, and don't hesitate in addressing issues to improve their service."  The one improvement he would recommend is that Logi-Tech further embrace global standards for service delivery.

Anthony comments, "Unisys has worked with Logi-Tech for a number of years and they have never let us down.  They talk openly and address issues, getting results.  Anthony adds, "Our relationship with Logi-Tech is one of the longest running relationships we have.  Both parties value the relationship."

When asked to comment on what he really thinks of Logi-Tech in his own words, Anthony responds, "Logi-Tech has matured over the years.  It's a dynamic organisation, attuned to what we need it to be.  They adjust to the market, providing quality customer service."

Anthony adds, "We regularly test the market for value for money, capability and quality of service, and Logi-Tech remains first choice.  Logi-Tech represents tier one customers and has the experience to deliver as a service provider to top organisations.  Logi-Tech doesn't necessarily have a profile in the home market but are a bit of a hidden secret in Adelaide.  Logi-Tech has learnt to work as a local company with a global mindset.  They are a unique company with unique skills, providing services to global customers on a global scale.  It is a differentiator that isn't promoted and that other South Australian companies could not deliver.  Logi-Tech use global methodology and approaches to delivery combined with industry best practice."

Key Issues for IT Operations Management, 2009

Gartner - Kris Brittain  Patricia Adams

Managing legacy and emerging technologies while aligning IT services and business strategy is challenging under any circumstances, but more so in the current economic climate. Gartner identifies seven key issues to help companies prepare for the future of IT operations management.

  • How will IT operations define IT services, align them with business value, and manage and measure them end to end, across multisourced environments?
  • What IT Operations Management (ITOM) strategies, architectures, processes and best practices must the IT organisation adopt to achieve IT operational excellence?
  • How will IT services and operations management tools evolve, and how can organizations exploit them to achieve operational excellence?
  • What are the steps necessary for IT operations organisations to evolve to an Real-time infrastructure (RTI)?
  • Which vendors will play leading roles in the development of IT services and operations management, and RTI-related markets, products and services?
  • How will IT operations and infrastructure management need to organize, develop and measure their people and processes to achieve operational excellence?
  • What external factors and trends will influence ITOM?
